ADR's offer, related to axles and stubaxles, is not limited to agricultural trailer equipment but also supports the design of the most modern soil-working implements. We provide solutions capable of withstanding the harshest environmental conditions.
In the competitive field, the so-called "Ground Effect" is an aerodynamic phenomenon sought after and desired by sector designers, to improve their vehicles' performance. However, in the agricultural field, the "Ground Effect" is different and opposite when equipment works the soil. In this case, the expression refers to both the physical aggressions that stones, rocks, mud, and dust inflict on the working parts and, the corrosion that can result from the presence of water and fertilizers.
In agriculture, the ground effect thus has a distinctly negative connotation, as it often leads to the breakage and wear of soil-working elements such as hoes, discs, rotary tillers, and their supports. The difference is that while the wear on working elements is visible and often predictable, the wear on supports and hidden rotating parts is insidious and invisible, only manifesting when it causes failures that require costly repairs and even more costly downtime.
The attention that the ADR Group puts into action, when called upon to support soil-working elements through the half-axles offered by its "ADR Ground" product line, is therefore more than justified. This line was developed in collaboration with equipment manufacturers and by engaging directly with end-users, to understand their problems and expectations. Among the latter, the most pressing requests concern the reliability of the half-axles, components that users fervently wish would last forever. While this is obviously an impossible goal, ADR approaches it by employing specific technical solutions, designed to prevent solid or liquid infiltrations from compromising the bearings' functionality. Hence the presence of robust seals incorporating steel elements, additional gaskets, and pre-sealed maintenance-free bearings.
Assuming that the stubaxles must also be made of quality materials and based on generous dimensions, the "ADR SOIL" production essentially combines all the group's reliability expertise, offering geometries designed to meet any installation and operational requirements.
