“We treat our employees like family,” said Michele Panuccio, Managing Director of ADR Axles USA, Inc., who was recently in Greater Des Moines to prepare for the operational launch of the ADR Axles facility planned for 2027.
Founded in Lombardy in 1954, ADR manufactures axles, suspensions and components for the agricultural and industrial sectors. Today, the Group employs around 1,500 people across 14 locations worldwide, including Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Australia, the Middle East and South Africa. Its international presence is summed up by a phrase often used within the company: “The sun never sets on the ADR Group.”
To provide greater flexibility and faster delivery times for U.S. customers, ADR announced the construction of its new headquarters in Perry, Iowa. The 64,500-square-foot facility will initially employ 35 people, with further expansion planned in the coming years.

According to Panuccio, ADR's history reflects its long-standing commitment to people.

“Before choosing Iowa, we evaluated other states,” Panuccio explained. “In the end, we selected Greater Des Moines because we strongly believe in the opportunities this area can offer us.”
The ADR team has already experienced the openness and collaborative spirit of both the city and the region.
Recruitment is underway ahead of the plant's operational launch in 2027. The first openings focus on engineering and commercial positions, followed by opportunities in production, quality, logistics, administration and maintenance.
Beyond creating new jobs, ADR's investment represents an important contribution to Perry's economic development and reflects the company's long-term commitment to becoming an active member of the local community for decades to come.
