These words represent ADR last achievement in development and management of integral hydraulic systems for suspensions and steering axles to obtain the best performances and the utmost control on more difficult soils.

Control systems for hydraulic suspensions

Different equipment levels are available to meet both technical and economic needs of our users.

Manual adjustment systems

The adjustment unit is located on the trailer and is enabled by the pedestrian operator. This unit is not provided with automatic systems to detect and regulate the attitude. For this reason the trailer height from the soil surface changes, if it is empty or loaded, and possible corrections may be carried out only manually. The unit is modular and allows different functions to be performed according to the kind of suspension is coupled with.

1st level: suspension with single-acting cylinders, it allows a balanced load distribution on the soil in all service conditions to perform effective brakes without adhesion problems.

2nd level: suspension with double-acting cylinders, both longitudinally and transversely interconnected. Besides the advantages of the 1st level suspension, it is active during curves, with a stabilizing effect on the vehicle.

3rd level: 2nd level suspension improved with specific functions for special applications: one or more axles are lifted to modify the load distribution on the soil according to the service needs. The suspension of one or more axles can be locked in order to stabilize the machine, for instance when the body is being dumped.

Automatic control system

All the suspension control operations are carried out in the tractor cab by means of a push-button panel (see picture): the suspension control panel is also provided with a graphic display where the main information (current driving level, lifted axle, axle lock) can be read and possible error signals checked.
The electronically controlled suspension is available in 2 versions:

1st level: standard self-levelling suspension, longitudinally and transversely interconnected, supplied with electronic attitude sensors to keep the vehicle driving height constant in any service condition, both empty and loaded.

2nd level: 1st level suspension improved with specific functions for special applications: - one or more axles lifted to modify the load on the lower axles according to the working needs. - the suspension lock of one or more axles in order to stabilize the machine, for instance when the body is being dumped.
